I did not want to leave. Chicago grew on me, quick. What wasn't love to love? A big city. Lots of people (and one special one). Job opportunities. the list continues on...
Never-the-less it was one fantastic week I will never forget. We were [almost] busy little bees. While we took the mornings to ourselves to slowly sip our morning coffee and bowl of cereal and read the newspaper, the afternoons and evenings is when we came alive.
to pick up where I left off, which was day three I think. We spent more time by the lake and some time downtown with her friends. Of course as any new boyfriend I had to pass the friend test.
Tuesday night we went to Wrigley Field and watch the Cubs play the Astros. It was a great back and forth game which unfortunately did not end in the Cubs favor...but it was still great to go to one of the most historic ball parks in America.
The last day there we caught lunch with yet another friend downtown, spent sometime cuddling on the couch, then sadly set out to O'Hara Airport for my 7:30CT flight.
Touched down in CT at 10:30ET and was home shortly after midnight.
then i was up at at work by 11:30. fun times.
Now all I have to look forward to is My job that starts in a few days and Oct when Denise comes to NYC for a 3 week re-mount of a show....
I don't know what I'm going to do till then...
